How to fix Global Protect Connectivity issues (Mac/ Windows)
If you happen to notice that the global protect icon is continuously connecting and remains in the same state for an extended period, as depicted below, kindly follow the steps provided to resolve the issue.
Note: For Windows and Mac Laptops the same steps are applicable.
Step 1:
If GlobalProtect fails to connect and displays the message "connecting" for an extended period, please ensure that you can access internet pages as a preliminary step. If internet access is available, proceed with the following steps.
In the absence of an internet connection, please proceed to skip all steps and reach out to the IT department for assistance.

Step 2:
To refresh the tunnel and connection, select the Global Protect icon from the notifications bar and click on the three rows icon. Then, choose "Refresh Connection."

If the connection issue persists, kindly try restarting your laptop.
Despite refreshing the connection and restarting the laptop if Global Protect does not connect, please raise an incident ticket or send a mail to helpdesk@devashu.freshservice.com
